The sea here is believed to have medicinal properties due to its high mineral concentration. It is also believed then mud which can be found on the sea bed is good for joints when rubbed onto the body. The sea is always calm as it is a lagoon, which also means it remains a warm temperature for the majority of the year. It also does not reach any deeper than 7m so is perfectly safe for children. Nearly all the beaches have gained the blue flag for excellence, ensuring that these beaches will please.
Where lifesaving is present, it is available from 1st July to 12th September, between11:00 and 19:00.
Las Salinas
This is a 1200m stretch of beach and is the closest to the apartment. However, this part of the beach does lack in services but if you just want a quick stroll down to the beach then this is ideal.
This beach is popular with windsurfers and various other water sports so is not the ideal place if you want to just bathe in the sea.
Los Narejos
This is a 1500m stretch of beach and is one of the best sections of the entire stretch of beach. It has parking available on the nearby street but spaces are limited so if driving you need to get there early during peak season. The beach is only a 20minute walk from the apartment so it is easily accessible. There are 2 snack bars here both with a variety of choice for things to both eat and drink.
Las Palmeras
This is a 1000m stretch of beach and is a good place for young families. There are a range of water activities availiable during peak season as well as amenities.
This beach is illuminated at night making it a nice evening walk after a meal.
